Welcome to the Graduate School of Chosun University (GSCU).Our Graduate School was established in 1953 with an aim of cultivating the talents of tomorrow's leaders who contribute to the building of a thriving nation and the development of local communities. Since its establishment, the GSCU has exerted all efforts to follow the founding spirit, which enables our graduates with Master's and Doctoral degrees to actively play a pivotal role in every corner of society.

Currently, the learning and education environment is rapidly changing to an extent that it cannot be compared with that of the 20th century when our school was founded. Back then, graduate schools acted as venues where talented scholars conducted straightforward academic research. In the 21st century, there is ever-increasing demand for graduate schools to nurture creative and distinctive scholars armed with the highest level of expertise through not only straightforward academic learning to acquire knowledge but also interdisciplinary convergence.

Change is an opportunity to make a difference. If we can achieve innovative transformation based on a clear understanding of the current circumstances and a comprehensive forecast for the future, the quality of graduate school education will be even better than in the past. Previously, talented Korean students went abroad to pursue their higher education. Now, students from all over the world are coming to Korea to pursue their higher education.
