Completed Research Students Registration (incl. those under a special category)
Period
Late February for spring semester, Late August for fall semester
Eligibility
- Those who have completed the required courses for a Master's or Doctoral Degree Program and wish to engage in research activities (to take part in BK 21 projects, receive research funds, etc.)
- Those who changed an academic advisor after completing their degree program
- Those under a special category (students who fail to submit their dissertation within the designated period of time for submitting their degree dissertation after completing their degree program, so-called 'students under permanent research completion status')
Registration Procedure
- Fill in an application form (attached) → Obtain approval from an academic advisor → Obtain confirmation and signature from a department head → Make a payment and submit required documents.
- Required documents to submit: Application form, payment slip
- Place to submit: The Graduate School office
Registration Fees
- Registration fees for completed research students: Three (3) per cent of tuition fees of the year
- Registration fees for those under a special category (students under permanent research completion status): One sixth of tuition fees of the year
- How to pay: wire transfer (Gwangju Bank 004 - 107 - 001237 '조선대학교대학원' The Graduate School of Chosun University)
- Completed research students are entitled to use the main library and borrow books (up to 15 books per month) under the same standard as current students.
